Big News! On July 11, 2016, the business law requirement to sit for the exam and to pursue licensure has been reduced by the Board of Accountancy. You are now only required to complete three semester hours or four quarter hours of business law with coverage of contracts, torts, and UCC. If you previously applied for the exam but were lacking three hours of business law, you may send an email with your application number to CPA.Applications@MyFloridaLicense.com. The Board of Accountancy will initiate workflow on the application and begin processing. For more information on this, visit the CPA Exam & Licensure page on the FICPA website, or the Educational Requirements page on the DBPR/Board of Accountancy website.
