KirkThe FICPA is providing many great opportunities for young CPAs around our state right now.

The FICPA Horizon Awards is just about to close its nominations this Wednesday, November 30, 2016. This award recognizes the brightest young CPAs at the forefront of our profession. Through service to the FICPA, these individuals are advancing the CPA profession and working to better their communities. The requirements for nomination are that the individual is a member of the FICPA, under 36 years old as of March 1, 2017, and must agree to have his/her likeness and profile featured in the March/April issue of the Florida CPA Today Magazine.  (more…)


KirkOn May 21st of 2016, the FICPA Young CPA Committee hosted their second annual CPA Day of Service where CPAs from all over the state volunteered in their communities on the same day. In the Tallahassee area we volunteered at Grace Mission, a community outreach organization. Several CPAs and staff from the FICPA came out to lend a hand in painting the inside of their facility and cleaning the inside and outside of several busses that the organization uses. (more…)
